New Vehicle

We finally had to get a new vehicle. After searching and driving lots we finally decided on a Cadillac Escalade. It is used, of course, and it is DECKED out. We had no idea that most people recoginize it as a gangster vehicle. We just liked all the things it had and the price was great! I will put some pics on very soon.
1.5 days till school starts.

David NYLT Camp

David LOVED going to National Youth Leadership Training Camp. He said that he would like to go back next year and then the year after that go back as a staff member. It sounds like he made some really fun friends and all the boys seemed to like him. The Senior Patrol Leader of the camp even gave David his hat. David said that he is never going to take it off. He is even excited that he can wear it to school. It is a hat that just the staff got, none of the other boys. That was way cool of Morgan to do that for David. The weather wasn't too awful for the boys. They had a little bit of everything from sun, to wind, to rain on the last night. The parents were invited up for the last day, Saturday, for an award presentation and singing fun. David got right in and joined the group, which was fun to see. He usually likes to be off by himself more. I am so glad we sent him on this fun camp. It will be good to see what comes of it in his home patrol.

School Starts in 15 Days!!!!

I can hardly wait! I am doing the happy dance! The girls go back to school in 15 days. I guess I need to start getting them back in a schedual that is good for getting up early. I don't like that part at all. David's school stuff came today, at least most of it. It is going to be so cool for Life Science. They sent a fairly large microscope to go with the course and lots of other fun stuff for him to do while taking the course. I am way excited about that. It will be lots of fun. The girls are taking swimming lessons for the next two weeks. David is at a leadership scout training. He was excited to go, so we will see if he is still excited when he gets back.
