Just thinking outloud

Well, David's room is just about done. We have painted all the walls, the planets, the ceiling, the constellations, and the trim is primed. We will be cutting and installing the trim today and tomorrow. I still have to 2nd and 3rd coat the closet doors, but that should only take me a couple of hours. I am so excited to finally be getting it finished. That just leaves us with Brittany's room to get done. That will hopefully not take as long. The walls will be white and the trim will be black. I think the things that will take the longest will be the mudding of the sheetrock and the music notes. I am just hoping to get it done next month. I don't like the fact that David's room took a whole month to get finished. Oh well, at least it is getting finished. After the kids' rooms are done we will be getting new flooring for their rooms. I haven't decided if it will be laminate flooring or carpet. I know I can get remnants of carpet for cheap, but their rooms aren't that big for laminate flooring either. I guess we can cross that bridge when we get there.
I am excited to be going to BYU Women's Conference next week. It is something I look forward to every year. It is great to go and be spiritually fed. I think everyone should go. It is like a king's feast of the spiritual nature. I love it!
We have six new chicks. They are straight run so we don't know if they are hens or roosters. I guess we will see. If they are roosters they will make a tasty dinner in about two months. If they are hens we will add them to our flock. Brian and David are building a new chicken coop next week. It will be larger so we can stand up in it and also to make more room for more chickens. It will be nice.
Well, I guess that is all for now. I will put pics of David's room up as soon as we finish.

  2. We just need something that will allow us to let our two flocks meet and not kill each other. So far the babies are doing great. We hope to be able to put them outside in about 3-4 weeks. We will have to put the heat lamp out with them, but that is o.k.
